You must not use the Service to:
- Upload, link to, submit, or process illegal content

- Upload or process content in a way that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of others
- Misuse, probe, scan, attack, reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service, our systems, or our infrastructure
- Bypass usage limits, technical restrictions, paywalls, redemption controls, security measures, or rate limits

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or misused the Service.
5. Results are probabilistic
DetectVideo AI provides probabilistic outputs such as scores, labels, explanations, summaries, and related analysis indicators. These outputs are generated through automated systems, heuristics, and machine-learning methods, and they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong.
No tool can guarantee human authenticity. Results are probabilistic and must not be treated as absolute proof.
You remain solely responsible for evaluating the reliability, context, source, and consequences of any result before relying on it.
6. No legal, forensic, regulatory, or professional advice
The Service is offered as a technical analysis tool only. It does not provide legal advice, forensic advice, regulatory advice, journalistic advice, investigative conclusions, or any other professional opinion. Any decision you make based on the Service is made at your own risk and under your own responsibility.
7. Service availability and changes
We may update, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature, output format, scan pack, limit, report format, integration, or workflow will remain available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may also change free-tier limits, paid scan pack features, upload limits, support scope, or technical rules at any time, including where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, infrastructure protection, legal compliance, or product improvement.
8. Scan packs, credits, and redemption
Certain features of the Service may be offered through paid scan packs, credits, redeem codes, or similar access mechanisms. Purchased scan credits are intended to be used within the Service in accordance with the applicable pack or feature rules shown at the time of purchase.
You are responsible for safeguarding any redeem code or access credential delivered to you. We may require email verification, browser-based continuity measures, redemption checks, or other technical validation methods to support access continuity and abuse prevention.
We may cancel, revoke, freeze, or refuse credits, codes, or access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, payment reversal, chargeback activity, unauthorized sharing, or violation of these Terms.
9. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to the applicable terms and policies of the payment provider used for that transaction.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, paid scan packs, redeemed credits, completed digital access grants, and used scans are generally non-refundable. If you believe a billing or delivery error occurred, you may contact us and we may review the matter in good faith.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, interface, design, branding, systems, workflows, reports, text, graphics, code, features, and underlying models or logic, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms, no license or ownership right is granted to you.
11. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you upload or submit. However, by uploading a video file, providing a video URL, or otherwise submitting content to the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the rights, permissions, or lawful basis necessary to do so.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to host, copy, process, analyze, store, transmit, and otherwise use submitted content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
12. Privacy

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms, privacy notices, and rules.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all related outputs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, or reputation arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of:

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DetectVideo AI and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that doing so is necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, respond to abuse, or enforce these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date shown on this page. The updated Terms become effective when posted on the website, unless a different effective date is stated.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms.
